Cars are like people. Each have personalities; they can be loud, brightly-coloured or just elegant. At shows or in the wild, these are some of my finest shots of automotive beauty and power.
Front-end of a modern BMW sedan at an auto show. Close-up of this 1972 Dodge Charger reveals some interesting curves. Caught on a California freeway, this 1969 Pontiac GTO added immediate colour to the bland sepia of the desert surroundings. There is something really beautiful about any Porsche 911. This Carrera, caught on the streets of Vancouver, is no exception. Front-end of a Ferrari 458 Italia at an auto exhibit. Interior shot of a Lincoln Mark III. Notice the faux-leather dashboard wrap, glass and steel accents around the instrumentation. ‘Karen’, my old 1970 Lincoln Mark III. This was one of the rare moments when she didn’t suffer some major mechanical breakdown, or leave me stranded. The beauty of Rolls-Royce’s Spirit of Ecstasy hood mascot is hard to capture, but when you do, it’s absolutely mesmerizing.
